About me

I am a Mindfulness Facilitator trained through the Brown University Mindfulness Center's MBSR teacher training pathway. I bring over two decades of professional experience working with communities facing complex stressors, including extensive work with populations affected by war, terrorism, sexual abuse, gang violence, and intimate partner violence.My own mindfulness practice began when I needed a skillful way to cope with the stresses of my work in counterterrorism, and the immense suffering I bore witness to.I am passionate about making evidence-based mindfulness practices accessible to people navigating the struggles of life and who, like me, are looking for skillful means by which to face what we cannot change.
